This weather is reddiculous, 2/3 of my fleet is out of commission. All due to sub zero temperatures. The cable parking brake on the F-150 has frozen in the engaged position. The battery in the RX-8 has lost it's charge and frozen. I am not amused...

Yesterday I tried to fuel up my wife's car and the trunk release and fuel filler release levers were frozen solid and immovable, must've gotten moisture in them from tracking in on boots. In any case, managed to defrost it by turning the car into a sauna and then taking it to a heated car wash. Went back to the station after it was working again and fueled up before it refroze.

Personally, as great as T2 is, and it is in fact, great as hell, I like the first one more. T3 was solid. I have mixed feelings about Salvation and Genisys.

I mostly liked Salvation. The bit when "Arnie" turns up had people cheer in the cinema. Genisys I'd have liked more if they hadn't put massive honking spoilers in the trailer. T3 was awful, Sarah Connor Chronicles was great, though suffered from quite a few "meh" episodes.

The joys of home ownership. I thought I'd be clever and buy a new house, turns out the builder filled the role of loving PO quite well. Lots of plumbing fixes done and some still to do, crappiest appliances I've ever suffered. At least it's warm.

Not even like the rules themselves haven't been decent for over a decade anyway. They just release more and more powerful things so whales will jump onto the flavor of the month and drop a couple more grand. GW has, shockingly, gotten better over the last year. Still shilling plastic crack, but they're back to doing a ton of YouTube content, and the new rules are both good and getting errata in weeks instead of years. They've also resurrected a bunch of their specialist games stuff that was popular, like Necromunda and Blood Bowl.

We built with DR Horton 4 1/2 years ago and it was a pretty good experience overall. With a lot of friends that have gone through the home building process we didn’t have any of the poor experiences they had. I think we got a very good value on a lot of things and the house is one we can stay in for the rest of our lives. I would stop by a couple times a week while it was getting built and the area was swept clean after every day and garbage was disposed of properly. They had a two year ‘bumper to bumper’ warranty that we called them out to fix just a few little things that you’d expect with a brand new house and it was fixed promptly. Home building and ownership; not all that bad.

Just figured out that doing vehicle maintenance whilst under the car and your dominant arm being almost useless is a pain in the dick.
