Yeah I can understand GLOW getting overlooked here. It's delightful and fun but it not as emotionally hefty as a lot of the shows in our top 40 which have much more memorable moments.

Yes, Rick and Morty comes in at #23, its first time showing up outside the top 10. The episodes were as strong as ever but the combination of a toxic fanbase, Dan Harmon's personal issues and gratuitous corporate synergy really pushed us away. Here's hoping that whenever season 4 comes around they can leave all the bullshit behind and focus on doing what they do best because the show is entertaining as hell.

When you look at the creators responsible for the shows left in our countdown you really have to admit that we're living in a golden age of television. Gilligan, Lynch, Esmail, Schur, Simon, Fuller, Lindelof, Hawley. It's like a Who's Who of TV right there. But will one of them be responsible for our next show?
