Man. I have a good friend who is half black and an adoptee. He reconnected with the white half of his birth family who are largely Mormons in Utah and he sees this stuff on FB all the time to the point where he’s mostly pulling back out of the family after a few years.

I don’t think Jim Cornette is a racist, but he’ll never be able to stop casually calling people retards or using gay slurs/insults even if he tries to immediately cover it up because he has like 40 years of phrases on how to go after people in his head that haven’t aged well but just fire out of his mouth automatically

Didn't this moron most likely get free tickets anyway?

This is why WWE will never die; people who are willing to spend way too much money time and time again, despite the WWE constantly showing that they WILL disappoint you 99% of the time. I'll still watch SD on occasion but I'm not paying for a live show anytime soon, and I sure as hell wouldn't drop that kind of money on any WWE event.

I've thought about going when WWE's come through Houston, but only because tickets were, like, max $100ish and usually in the 30-50 range and that's pretty much my sweet spot for "getting to see wrestlemen I recognize live while drinking lovely overpriced beer." dropping eight hundred and thirty-five loving dollars on one ticket to a WWE show is insane.

e: also, that doesn't go in this thread because a live audience having to watch half of the show they paid for on the TitanTron is some straight up WCW Thunder poo poo and dude is absolutely right to complain about WWE doing that

I paid ~$1000ish for a pair of Wrestlemania 31 tickets, and felt that was worth it. I can see paying ~$1000ish to go to the Royal Rumble, or Summerslam, and that being worth it. I cannot possibly see paying ~$1000ish to go to Raw, no matter what they tell you is going to happen on it, especially not the week before a pay-per-view.

That said, the surprising amount of "lol, you idiots" response I'm seeing on the internet perplexes me. The WWE advertised a wrestling show and charged a premium price for it. It may be silly to spend that much on an episode of loving Raw, but that doesn't mean they're not supposed to give you what they advertised or that you're not right to be pissed.

I get what you're saying, however they paid $1000 for Raw. They knew in advance it was going to be a two venue Raw. Raw sucks 90% of the time when it's not just okay but a drag.

It was never going to be worth it. Especially when everything that was worth seeing was obviously going to be done in the bigger venue with the larger crowd.

If you still disagree please paypal me $1000 for the Good Gonzo McFee posts. I've not done one yet but at $1000 I must be advertising something worth it!

Oh, the show was always going to be bad, but a bad show is still A Show and this was more of A Collective Television-Watching Experience feat. Bray Wyatt. They could've at least crammed in dark matches.

That's more than it costs to get the VIP tickets to a regular weekly show too, the ones that include a front row seat, a bunch of merch and a meet and greet.

(probably like Apollo and Alicia but sometimes it's Styles or Bryan)
