Remember when he said he'd rather not be stuck in a lift with a gay person, and then later "apologised" by saying he had nothing against gay people, he just didn't want to be stuck in a lift with them? I think that was the first time I had to really confront the idea that someone could be good at music but bad at being a person.

Been on a Cynic binge lately, but what's the deal with Paul Masvidal apparently being a dickhead? Seems like he's been hated by a whole lot of his former bandmates (including Chuck Schuldiner who apparently wrote The Philosopher about him) and wondered what the history was there.
