I must know your secrets.
Meanwhile I haven't seen a Spheal since the water/ice event, and we've had rain pretty consistently since then. Hell, I rarely see any water spawns during the rain, and when I do they're usually just wooper or marill.

I do really think that they made a mistake with the Windy weather boosting Dragon types.
Dratini was common enough here that people stopped reporting them in the rare spawns group. You'd probably find one everyother trip into town.
However ever since the introduction of weather I've only seen I think 2 neither of them during Windy weather.

We had windy weather for a couple hours and while the scanner did register more Dragonite, we didn't really see more Dratini at all. Granted most of our city is mt moon biome and very little is water, so that's probably why.

In Winnipeg, where we have a lot of water biomes, I notice some of our scanners picking up more dratini during windy weather and them being weather boosted. Not a huge bump, but still noticeable.

At the very least, Spheal, Duskull and Skitty should be moved down to 2ks, and Zigzagoon and Gulpin should be removed entirely. Could do with another 10k as well, maybe when the last wave hits we'll get Bagon or Beldum.

zigzagoon should be sentret/rattata-ified. 25 candies to evolve, no eggs. it is boggling that it's 50 to evolve that thing, like seriously what in the hell. at least if they moved it to 25 it'd be sorta worth catching for evolution sprees.

I spotted a rarity at a raid last night. A neckbeard goon.

Most of the raids we have around here have a few, but this dude was clearly a Prime Cut of rear end in a top hat. Almost 6 feet tall with the pube hair attempt at a beard, being driven around by his friend who clearly wasn't comfy with the goon asking about friend's mom's breast cancer, and demonstrating by tapping his own mantit and asking if she'd get fake ones put in.

Said awesome goon started in asap, saying he didn't want to catch Kyorge because he doesn't have ANY legendary and doesn't want to break that streak. When he found out I'd missed the Aggron raid, he wouldn't shut up about how he caught it, but me showing him my Slackings and Dragonites shut him up fast, before he accused me of spoofing. No, rear end in a top hat, I've just played a lot and walked a lot and spent money to get incubators.

Of course he kept his social skills when we split into groups (21 people showed) and when he caught on the last ball, he started screaming. Literally screaming NO NO NO I CAUGHT HIM NO NO gently caress NO.

I think maybe 3 people caught it in his group. I think I know why no one invites him to carpool to raids.

Ice is gonna be good if the next legendary raids are the dragon ones like Latias (2x), Latios (2x), or Rayquaza (4x). If it's the titans though, they'll be easy enough because everyone has enough fire, water, and ground types. It'd be nice to stock up on Regice in preparation for the dragon ones if the titans come before them.

The Regis aren't particularly great attackers, they are built to take hits something fierce and that's about it

If you got one, a legacy Lapras with Ice Beam is primo dragon killer material

Yeah I was just told by someone else that the titans have very low attack stats. Sucks. At least they were suggesting that Rayquaza is probably next anyway, although that's not really backed by any sources.

Also in Pokemon Go lingo, weakness/resistance translates to this:

Quadruple (2 types) weakness is actually getting hit by 1.96x damage.
Double (1 type) weakness is actually getting hit by 1.4x damage.
Double (1 type) resist is actually taking 0.714x damage.
Quadruple (2 types) resist is actually taking 0.51x damage.

Since the update the throw distance +ring is way easier to hit with Great throws if you're patient. Catch rate still sucks and all, but that's pretty much all legendaries. Did catch a lv 32 15/15/14 trapinch today, just need a few more candy to make my dirt dragon.

For some reason it seems to be the most weather-affected of any spawn. Any other weather you'll never see one, but if it's partly cloudy they're just everywhere.
