Yeah, you want seasons 2 to 5.

I've only seen a couple episodes of season 6. The action's basically on par, but they try to make a xerox copy of Damian Scott and it hasn't worked for me yet.

Best part of season 6 is in episode 3 when one of the guys looks at the other with a look that just says "wait are you seriously going to do be doing that".

Have any of you seen the trailer for this new AMC series coming out called The Terror? Aesthetically this show looks amazing, I really hope it turns out good.

I loved the book it was based on, did a great job of conveying just how bleak and grinding the arctic cold is. As for the show, the cast and production looks great so I have high hopes.

If you've done anything in entertainment, you've at some point dealt with CAA. They were basically the original Hollywood superagency, representing basically everyone under the sun. Producers feared and hated Michael Ovitz because he was just that good at strongarm negotiation tactics. The company is also incredibly scummy.

So is Rose McGowan right? Is this some conspiracy that goes all the way to the top? Because that wouldn't be all that surprising given what's taken place in the past couple months.

So basically Rose is accusing CAA of covering up allegations while hiding behind #metoo? Has anyone else said anything about being suppressed by the agency?

Michael Eisner spending months convincing everyone else at Disney that Ovitz was the ideal person to appoint as company president then immediately trying to undermine him and get him to quit once he was in the job is one of the strangest things recounted in Disney War.

It’s weird, Prime has what I guess is S2 listed as S1. I’m halfway through E2 and enjoying it. It’s pretty dumb but the action scenes are set up well and the characters are more likeable than Banshee’s.

Ahahaha episode 5 of season 2 of Banshee is the loving best. Every other show on the planet (except the Good Place) would have milked that for all the plot they could get out of it. Banshee? Nope. Boom headshot.

This show :allears:.

(Still a really, really great character driven episode for a show that's all about the action)

Last summer Sony gave me a free 6 month upgrade to the highest tier of PS Vue, which just ran out like a week ago. Tonight I get an email from Sony saying that they're giving me ANOTHER 6 month upgrade to the highest tier. What is the point of this? I'm definitely not going to pay more if you just keep throwing these upgrades at me. Also the upgrade is kind of wasted on me anyway because pretty much nothing in the higher tiers interest me as the base tier has all the "basic" channels (FX, AMC, TNT, etc)

Happy! just ended its season and that show kicks rear end nonstop. If you're looking for a good, fun action show definitely check it out.

Also just saw The Good Place finale. I liked it but it felt awkward as a season finale, like last week's episode was supposed to be the finale but it was running 5 minutes too long so they just stuck the last couple of scenes at the beginning of what would have otherwise been a season premiere.

btw Black Lightning is still really good, I'm glad that someone is making a superhero show that focuses more on the grounded, human aspects of being a hero instead of more pulp comic book stuff.

Watching you sleep.

Butt first, let's
check the feeds.

The Good Place finale fell a little flat for me but I don't think going back an episode would have been any better. I just think its a case of they coming up with another way to blow the show's premise up and do something different next season but it just didn't hit as big as the first time and I'm not too excited by the new direction.

I'm still watching S3, because S2 was really great. But it just didn't end up in a place that has me excited.

Black Lightning is real good. Gotta go watch the Happy! finale. I enjoyed it but I don't think I'd describe it as a "good fun action show". I mean, it is but when the thread has been discussing shows like Banshee and Strike Back "good fun action show" kind of sounds like something different than what Happy! is. It ain't those. Its not much like anything I've watched. Its loving weird, but its a fun ride.

I didn't dislike the new direction they're taking for Good Place S3 but it feels too similar to how the first season ended. I kept waiting for a bigger twist to happen only to realize by the end that no twist was coming and that they were just setting up the premise for S3 in a really straightforward manner. But who knows how long they'll actually stick with that premise, the original sequel hook for S2 ended up only lasting a couple episodes before they moved onto something new.

Happy! is definitely weirder than most action shows but it has some of the most balls-out insane action sequences I've ever seen on TV, and I think anyone who enjoys Banshee or Strike Back will like it.
