Wow. Rockets looking to trade the guy who's been involved in every hypothetical Rockets trade for two years? Amazing. This man's got the scoops.

The market for centers is so amazing right now, everybody is shopping one around. Watch, not one will be traded because every team will ask for too much back.

From what I've been reading, that's generally true about the whole market - there are way more sellers than buyers. It may lead to a less eventful trade deadline but it could just as easily result in a wacky ripoff trade. Can't wait for thursday

I think the league is trending towards smarter GMs who aren't being forced into garbage win now situations by their owners. So less pressure to mortgage futures.

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
The fact that the mainstream sources say that the Lakers are turning down offers for first round picks for Clarkson and Randle is interesting, but I guess the caveat is the teams making the offers are over the cap and want to send non-expiring salary back. That sort of kills reliable-but-obscure Clutchfans poster's claim that they have a Marc Gasol deal in place if they can just get their hands on a first.

The Bucks desperately needed a center so I can't even complain about adding a Zeller. Only had two centers on the roster after the Monroe trade for Bledsoe, and it's generous to call Thon Maker a NBA center currently.

my favourite narrative from the old days of trade deadlines was when people would say "well they gotta mix it up." I cant believe how many bad trades were made, that hosed with both teams, just because bad GMs wanted to look like they were doing something. I feel like every Brian Colangelo move was that.

He made 3 good trades in Toronto

Araujo for Whaley and Humprhies. We get a useful player and some cap relief by waiving Whaley, and get rid of the worst top 10 pick in Raptors history, win-win. I know Humphries isn't too well liked or respected, but he's 50x the player Araujo was.

Villanueva for Ford. Ford had his best years in Toronto and Charlie never really grew his game much.

Gary Forbes and a 1st rounder for Kyle Lowry.

I also didn't hate the Nesterovic trade, but was sad to see Bonner go, dude was a dead-eye shooter and the fans loved him.

I mean it's not the worst idea. Players often just need a change of scenery. Tho i might be biased because I want to see a bunch of summer of 16 free agents get traded for each other.
