I feel like you could probably count on one hand the number of games with a helpless companion that can die that are still great games, especially from the GC/PS2/XB era. And RE4 is like 1/3 escorting a retard and not just still godly, but those sections don't even miss a beat versus the rest of the game

Beat the first Claire stage and this game is pretty cool. Real good deal for $13 and the gyro aiming is nice ...... am I understanding correctly that story co-op is local only and just raid mode is online?

The only thing I know about Revelatikns 2 is that a vocal sect of RE gamers hate it because Claire Redfield doesn’t get dismembered/etc gorily enough.

The cutscenes in Revelations are something else. I like exploring the boat and the classic water jump scare section got me good. I wish you moved faster in the game though, or there was at least a sprint button so I could be moving slower and I'd be able to trick my mind into thinking I'm moving quickly

Rev was pretty alright but a little too milquetoast for me. Rev 2 is where it’s at imo. More compelling story and characters, and just does everything a little better.
