I am eagerly awaiting the release of the new Game of Thrones book, "A Westeros Cook Book" where Binging with Babish creates recipes for all the food described in the book. I may honestly buy that.

Vanity Fair has an article explaining how angry GRRM is that the show is ahead of him and ruining his twists by revealing them before he writes them. At this point I think he is rewriting WoW to make it different since he is now mad about the show.

Also I think once spoilers for the show have started getting confirmed we need one last Bad Thread blitz of spoilers in TVIV. It's our last ride until a Wild Cards show gets picked up by HBO. But it's not as fun spoilering things about people with octopus noses since I doubt anyone will take it as seriously as they do with GoT.

Why would you write an encyclopedia for a series that isnt even completed. His publisher should put out a 'ASOIAF: The Complete Collection' thats just all the books out now just to piss him off.

Remember. Dance with Dragons was rushed out the door 80% finished to get it on shelves before the show premiered. He has had 8 years now to finish at least one more book. He did not. I want to say GRMM is the victim of his own success, but no, that’s not true, he’s the victim of other, vaguely more competent people’s success.

For them to to miss releasing the book while the show is on air.. it's a major marketing gently caress up. So I expected them to cobble together his chapters and ship whatever they had available. But I guess that Fire & Blood book will fill the holiday slot for this year.
