It looks like it should be an evolved form of luvdisc but it's not. It is a second useless pink heart shaped fish that does not evolve to or from anything.

Now that I'm getting a lot of good eevees again, is it worth walking them for the umbreon/espeon versions, or should I just roll the dice on water/fire/electric? I already have a good umbreon/espeon, but also loads of the others as well.

Umbreon is pretty weak, so if you absolutely need something then shoot for more Vaporeon though I'd save any really good Eevee for the gen 4 evolves.

It doesn't make for much of an attacker and as a defender it's outclassed by a variety of other Pokemon that are weak to fighting. A high level high iv umbreon is nice for eevee theme gyms but not much else. Espeon is a little more durable than alakazam but doesn't hit quite as hard. It's not a bad all around Pokemon but you can usually find other, more specialized Pokemon to fill it's niches. A 3000 cp espeon is pretty cool to have though, but you'll need a 15/15/15 eevee to get it. The other three are outclassed as attackers by kyogre, raikou and entei. And gyarados now I guess. Vaporeon is no longer the king of water types. Jolteon and flareon were always kind of middling, even when jolteon was the best electric type in the game.

Jolt/Flareon are still the best attackers of their type in the game because they don't require walking 50km for candies to power up once or wasting a lot of rare candies. Evolving level 35 Eevees for those types would be great

Really anything except umbreon makes for an easy way to round out a team without using a lot of stardust. I don't think using rare candies on legendaries is really a waste though. That's kind of what they're for.

I swear to god if a 100% Dratini doesn't pop up during the community day I'll be so....mildly disappointed. I'm gonna watch it spawn and I get to it at 1:59 and I evolve it just as it turns 2:00. At least the whole Outrage > Draco Meteor thing would give that scenario a silver lining.

actually thinking about it, while outrage is a better move, it isn't better by much at all so if you can evolve a dragonite on the community day it means you can guarantee yourself a good dragon-type charge move rather than having to waste charge tms if you get the wrong move. so eh, overall a good thing i guess.

Not I. 65/200, where about half of them were gotten during August 2016 when there was a semi-close Dratini nest. I'm up to 91/200 on my badge 22/22 Dratini (hatched at least 5) 2/2 Dragonair (evolved) 25/30. Dragonite (evolved maybe 3 of them) 1 evolved seadra 10/10. vibrava (evolved 2) 1 evolved flygon 25/25 bagon 3/3. shelgon 1 evolved salamence 1 Rayquaza Hoping to hit gold with the event finally, and since aron are fairly common here I'll finish my steel badge soon. There's a good scanner in town so I'm hoping to pick up a high level high IV Dratini to evolve.

I'm only at 74 for dragon type, and a whopping 54 of those are dratini (67 for the whole family). 2 bagon, 2 kingdra(for gender dex), and 3 Rayquaza, including my 100. So, not bad, I guess. For an easy example, my Flareon at lvl 31.5/2460 cp has 102 HP. My Entei at lvl 20/1921 cp has 145 HP. Imo the original eeveelutions, besides vapedog, are way more fragile and don't really stand up in a raid, even when they have resistance to typing. Besides if you do any decent about of raiding, it's pretty easy to build up enough candies to power up legendaries(sure, not to make but diminishing returns around level 30 make it not worth it anyways), and you have a whole month to do that. Plus, like someone said, that's what rare candies are for. I don't raid that much(at least compared to others in my community), and I'm still sitting on over 200, even after dumping a bunch into certain legendaries, and feebas cause I was impatient. Tldr if you live somewhere you're able(aka have an active raiding community), you should hit those legendary raids as much as you can/want, for candy if nothing else cause most of the legendaries are kick rear end. So, not bad, I guess. I feel like I do a ton of raiding, I'm at 64 regular (only one or two at l4) and 36 legendary raids. I think the issue is I got mewtwos immediately and burned every rare candy I had on them, and now I'm going to devote my rare candy to getting new Dex entries on stuff like trapinch. In a vacuum you're right about hit points but even when I used leveled jolts and unlebeled Zapdos/Raikou vs legendaries lIke kyogre the charge move was going to kill my dude either way, no matter the bulk. I'd rather have high dps than survivability and the eeveelotions do a good enough job if that, especially since there's so many better things to spend rare candy on (kyogre, Groudon, Mewtwo, dex entries)

650/200 dragons here. Most of that is from the first year of the game when I lived in a harbour district, Dratini everywhere. I still never found a 100% one until like two weeks ago when someone with a 100% scanner announced one in the city center.
