Sure he proved to be loving abysmal in save situations, but he's a fantastic setup guy who can get both lefties and righties out. Maybe FO's don't like his peripherals or something? The guy has outperformed his FIP literally every season of his career though: this is what extreme ground ball pitchers do.

I kind of wonder how the whole meeting even came about. Did Trump Jr. wake up one day and say "I want to hang out with some baseball mans today," or did a bunch of Mets players decide that they wanted to hang out with some rich dude that they have little in common with? Or do their agents just have roulette wheels that they use to play celebrity matchmaker? Weirder still, were they just independently shark fishing in the same area and just ran into each other? Is this a country club thing?
