This week I raided at two gyms where passes were handed out, and got none. During the previous round it seemed like almost everyone who had raided at the right gym got one, but now it seems like it's a lottery again.

Looks like kid got a second pass, this time from a gym we actually raided at over the weekend with a local group. I think she can get to it with my wife, so hopefully someone helps her catch it since neither one can do curve balls very well. I of course got no pass again, and this time we raided at 5 different ex gyms recently. Oh well, I'm still glad she got one Mewtwo let alone possibly two. Maybe if trading gets in the game she can trade it to me and back for the Dex entry.

And it's a fairly easy throw unless he double-attacks to block one of your balls. It's not 100% but it's pretty good odds both in terms of math and throw difficulty.

I think that with all the modifiers in your favor the catch rate gets up to 50% or so Curved excellent golden razz with gold badge and gold gym badge

Spawns are weird. Other people say "Well, she has-" at raids, and I'm like "shhhh you're gonna get my rear end beat." It's the worst system. I raid at a gym several times, trying to help trigger, nothing. I say gently caress it and raid when and where I want, I get passes. All of my passes were handed out when I was bronze at those gyms, too. I don't think Niantic knows what the gently caress they're doing. I'm also sick to the tits of spoofers. Working on golding gyms for various reasons, tired of having "DRTRUMP69" kick me out after 10 minutes. And the national (international?) map that covers this area and has a god damned "Unown Sightings" channel for spoofers is expanding their coverage, so it's gonna get worse. They're both in the trainer profile. Medals are the ones listed in the Medals category, they're round. Badges are the ones listed under Badges, they're not round.

I just remembered Regigigas existed and despaired. 1 extra month of a NORMAL TYPE legendary to pad out before gen 4. I just want to get my Rhyperior and Honchkrow and Mismagius already

You can say that again. Gen 4 was pretty much peak legendary madness. For those who never made it that far, for Gen 4 we have: Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Heatran, Regigigas, Darkrai, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Manaphy, Phione, and Shaymin. It was bonkers. On the other hand, Gen 4 also has 22 pokemon that're evolutions of previous gens. And a handful of babies, too. So should be fun times when Go gets there eventually.

Oh okay no wonder I just remembered. But speaking of legendaries: https://pokemongolive.com/post/legendaryweek022318/ Niantic is literally trolling us on raiding Rayquaza. "Raid Rayquaza more and get a prize but we're throwing two other legendaries you're tired of in there to make it harder to coordinate raids." It was bad enough when it was 50/50 and all the raid efforts were always "We're down to raid if it's Rayquaza" but now it's 33/33/33 and back to everyone sitting on their hands and not committing to a raid and then a mad scramble if we get the right hatch. My kid wants nothing to do with a shiny Dragonite. Any she catches will stay Dratini or Dragonair. If I get more than one I will make a shiny Dragonite because they're such an eyesore
