3 out of 6 light towers are not working at Canberra, they've played a quarter but might abandon the game at half time once the sun sets if they are not all working by then.

Sounds like the citizens of Manuka are still irate about the 'village feel' of their suburb being ruined by the light towers.

Not a problem, sir

So Hird is looking to make a comeback. He's being considered for an analyst position in Freo.

I guess it can't hurt if he has zero opportunities to dope up players

I like when Brisbane plays on after a melbourne free and handballs it away ending our chance to score before the siren and it’s not 50 but some fluorescent pindick fuckwit is happy to hand the lions a 70m walk up the ground for no reason whatsoever to give them a shot

As an independent watcher, these JLT games are somewhat boring. Cant really get a guage on how teams are going either due to lack of intensity.

Nah, she's in Melbourne and that is what counts for her. She'll be off to Richmond in 2 years anyway, I suspect.

AFLW umpring is awful though, so many missed calls and terrible decisions that match. At least we played this week, unlike last. We started late (like most of our games) and gave up the lead, if we had of been competitive in Q1 we could have been in it, keeping the crows scoreless in the third would have meant something if we weren't so far behind.

It is telling when one of the smallest girls in the comp (G. Gee) is one of our better ball users in the forward 50, we can't get clean possessions to take set shots at goal, instead we're panicking and kicking blindly at goal unlike other teams.

And again, missing our best player with an ACL. Like the crows when Phillips went off at half time, they just stopped for a quarter.

Yeah, their percentage should see them in even if we managed to beat Carlton and them and catch up on points

Yeah, although they do have two difficult matches to finish up with. GWS away and Melbourne. They'd have to drop them both (or get absolutely creamed in one of them) to have any chance of missing the finals.

The Crows are somehow still alive, but need some results to go their way. The best option for us is for the Bulldogs to keep winning and then GWS get over Brisbane in the last round. Obviously we'd need to win both our matches as well but that would get us into second spot.
