It had some good story bit but Ratchet was kind of an irritating rear end in a top hat and Clank was kind of a boy scout buzzkill. The writing was never the reason to play the games and the series in general has always been wildly uneven in that regard but the original has not aged well and is weird to go back to.

WD2 made it uncomfortably clear how data gathered online can be used in discriminatory practices, too i mean this is all public knowledge anyway but the way the game shoved it in my face made it click a little better
