I think bringing back Lugia and the birds in general would be a really good move considering the weather boosts would help with things, and give newer players that are now understanding the nuances of raiding via Discord and the like a chance to build up a good team. Anybody against this move is probably a massively boring person to be around.

And those of us who don't travel around much even in larger towns would have a pretty similar issue. Keeping the new one by itself at least for a while, and then overlapping with one or two older ones would probably work better.

Are shiny legendaries more common or something? I’ve caught more than a thousand magikarp and haven’t seen a shiny, I don’t see how y’all would have that much hope getting a shiny Lugia if you only battle them a few dozen times, tops.

Yes, they upped the chances for raids. Absol is something like a 1/6 chance, seems Luigia is similar. I think the Dratini shiny chance was something like 1/20.

Caught a Shiny Lugia in the first ball. I gave it a Nanab so it wouldn't move, but caught it with no isdues. So it looks like the catch ratio is indeed 100%, at least from my experience

I was going to take a little break from raiding during this two week stretch but I had a Mewtwo raid today and one thing led to another and I ended up doing like 8 Lugias in a row. Got a red one on my second try though so I've got no regrets.

Welp, that was a fun day. Did 4 Lugia raid with the local group up here. Kid got 3 Lugia, the 2nd was shiny. I caught 2, with the 4th being shiny. Decent IVs to boot. A friend came in from a small town and he got 3/3 Lugia and his kid got his very first legendary today.

Yeah everyone's saying if you run into a shiny Lugia, it's 100% catch rate. Good thing I didn't post yesterday when I got mine because I was about to boast how lucky I was to get it on the first ball. Now I just feel dumb I wasted like 30 seconds making sure it attacked first before throwing and also not using a Pinap berry.

Went to an EX Raid, everyone was bitching about how tired they are of EX raids. They have to show up at a certain time, deal with people outside of their normal raiding circles, and they don't really need another 12/12/15 Mewtwo. Niantic is loving up big time.

My son, girlfriend, and I went to an ex raid because they got passes (I didn’t.) There was this girl loudly proclaiming that this Mewtoo better be good because she’s tired of getting less than perfect Mewtoos. I think she said she had 4? So one second before the raid starts her phone crashes and she is telling us to back out. We laughed at her and she started crying and left. It was awesome. It would’ve been ok, but this was a grown woman probably in her late 20’s. gently caress her. I’m reminded of this because I saw her at a Lugia raid yesterday and she saw me and left immediately.
