 Coming out in summer. Pre-orders start next Monday Oh also all the ingame content will also be available as a free update to Sonic Mania if you already own it digitally (which I imagine most people here do)

Honestly I do think its cool to see Ray and Mighty again after they've been awol forever. I was just hoping for Amy and Vector. Vector is a personal favorite of mine, but it is a little odd how absent Amy aside from the doll in that boss fight when she's the 4th most important character after Sonic\Tails\Knuckles. Hi its me the guy who doesn't want any more of sonics stupid friends in games. Sonic, Tails, and Knux are enough we don't need weasel the gun or bee fast. Also a 4 player competition mode and "encore" mode don't sound too great.

I would be into competition mode if it was like, an actual race and not some weird points scoring thing. I did it with a buddy, and when someone lost the race, they would win the match and we were both like "wtf" it's been so long since I've played Vs. mode in Sonic 2 or 3, but they didn't work like that, right?
