Yeah, on his own show they started out with him doing stuff like putting one as a scene started and the like, but by about halfway through he was lighting them on holy candles inside a church. Maybe by then they knew cancelation was coming but something changed and they let it be super overt and it was glorious.

Its kind of weird that like everyone has super powered totems now. And poor Ray. The Mick/Fire one kind of makes sense as does the Sara/Death one. Then again maybe the fact that Nate couldn't get a reaction from the Earth one means he can't wield it and they'll have to go looking for someone or something.
