I mean it looks good to me? A hundred times better than what I can draw at any rate. The only thing that looks off to me is the bird dude in the foreground. I think the shading on him makes his figure look to murky. Other than that its really nice.

Feel like I'm spamming up the thread; but I've had a real good few days motivation wise (which i've needed) so I managed to complete my Matthew McConaughey picture after previously sketching it.

Palettes are the artists of the Saodiac. Worshipped by mods and beloved by Lurkers, they are a :suicide: sign because that is what they dream of when a well timed but five second riposte by a Jester is emptyquoted for half a page while an hours long effortcreation goes unnoticed. Palettes are a mystery to most GBSigns, oblivious to forum drama and seldom revealing their opinions on any subject. Their obsession with their craft may replace sexual desire, which is unfortunate because they are also creative in bed. Notable Palettes are Applewhite, GRINDCORE MEDDICO, Palpek, Stanky Bean, Das Boo, a hole-y ghost, and Sharpest Crayon. Goons with a Palette rising include Bored, PapaEmeritus III, Obsidian Heart, PathAsc, and Gatekeeper.

Doing SAstrology GBSigns in the paranasal sinus cancer thread now, thought I'd stick this one (only) here too.

Hey, I just want to say that I've really enjoyed everyone's artwork in this thread. It's been really getting me motivated to start drawing seriously and I think that by sharing some of the doodles I do it might keep me motivated too.

So anyway to keep the pics rolling here's a kind of older thing I did as my first Krita drawing.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to spam the thread with too many arts, there is no such thing. I like how much harsher you made the disgust when moving on from the sketch, it's barely there in the sketch but very visible here.
If you wanna emulate how my stuff looks, just get artweaver and go to town with the calligraphy brush, 'cause that's literally all I use 99% of the time. I just change the mode and the settings on the fly.

Lol JUST DOUBLEPOST EVERYTHING everywhere! I'm pretty sure the overlap with this thread and GBS is not that big.
Also  I made THE LIST. I love how much thought and detail you put into all your pieces, not just the drawings, but expanding the whole thing with a story too. It's great.

I do not know what this is, but it is now my best friend and I will protect it with my life.

For me, I've been doing a lot of actual watercolours and pfft have I been bothered to scan or even take pics? NOPE. Anyway it's eating into my digital time 'cause once you've used The Arting skill earlier in the day, the mana on it gets exhausted and you've got nothing left when it's digitime.

I did make a cyberfishwife and wasn't too happy with it.

Then I realized I better get an actual reference the next time I do backlights and thus:

^I really like how expressive that is, especially the one brighter eye.

Most of my drawings and doodles I don't really plan out, I just put down some curves and go from there. On the one hand I probably don't spend long enough on details, on the other hand I like simple shapes and colors that are easy to read.

Sorry for the late reply. RL been kicking the poo poo out of me again. Thanks, I was going for more contempt than disgust - but I'm glad the general emotion is coming across. I'll have to check out artweaver when I can justify spending money! Till then I'm mostly just using krita because I like open source things :)

Though there's nothing wrong with just saying "gently caress it, I'm staying with what I like using" 'cause it's always a hassle learning a new system.

This is rad af. I'd say if you're gonna leave it b&w you should vary your line weights a bit to give the illusion of depth. I mean it's great and simple already, but I'd personally tweak it just a bit. Just feels a lil flat overall.

I know this cause I’m doing several pages of sketches for a reptile lady character and she is also wearing harem pants. Might post when I’m at a real computer
