ugh, that's... not great. Pick on Carmen for the fact that she's an rear end in a top hat, not the fact that she's trans. is Bianca really even relevant anymore? I know she had her comedy tour and that it sold pretty well, but the fact that she hasn't done anything exceptional since her S7 crowning look is honestly expected. (Yeah I know Hurricane Bianca was a thing but it was goddamn terrible).

Hnghhhhhhh that is monumentally lovely, wow. I'm assuming there has been zero in the vein of an apology. And as y'all have said I'm sure she's still doing fine, because as cis white gays, we are still cis and white first. The clips I've seen of Bianca del Rio's show have all been pretty meh. The Haters' Roasts, on the other hand, have been absolutely hilarious. Trixie's roasting ability is astronomically hilarious.

That's basically true for every single fanbase that gets too big. The bigger it gets, the louder the lovely part becomes, until one of two things happens: Either the fanbase shrinks back down later and all the lovely people move on and leave the good people to tend to the ashes of the fanbase (Homestuck) or the lovely people drive out the not lovely people and the fanbase consumes itself in an ouroboros of toxicity (Steven Universe) Drag Race is a bit of a bigger beast than HS or SU though, given that RuPaul is a household name and his show gets primetime on a major TV network aimed at adults, as opposed to a webcomic aimed at Comp Sci nerds and later at teen nerds in general, and a children's cartoon.

Next episode's preview is here! Oooh lord, The Vixen is relishing her role as the pot stirrer/whistleblower and I am honestly here for someone who is not afraid to be an unabashed messy villain. There's a lot of loud personalities this season that makes such compelling television and I think we've had more drama in the first episode and this preview than nearly all of Season 9. Hopefully the strong start to this season is an indicator for good things to come and I'm just loving how all these girls are interacting and having fun/throwing shade at each other.

miss vaaaaaaaaaaannnnngie. man so far this season has been loving great and even the previews for the next week are off the chain hahaha watching this intro, i'm like "poor Aquaria". i think she made a huge mistake of exaggerating a situation around the Vixen and now it's blown up into drama city. Miz Cracker's playing it smart by not really engaging until pressed directly. also thank gently caress we are having mini-challenges again. i love the goofy sort of character-building moments they add to the show.
