What is this stuff?
Ever listened to Paramore, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy or Panic At The Disco and still keep a few of their songs on your hidden playlist that you don't dare to play for others out of shame because you're too old to listen to this stuff? This thread is definitely for you!

Alright, I may have a few songs..
Good! Because even though you might look (very) out of place at a concert for these sort of bands, one can still listen to this in secrecy and shame!

As the other thread was now archived, I still really like this silly genre of music and the recommendations I got from goons on this genre was really good. Now that spring has arrived again, I always seem to return to my own scenecore playlist and start to add a few songs here and there.

Here's a list of current stuff that I like, and also a pinpointer as to what sort of music this thread is about.

Summer Wars - Place in Time

Paramore - Hard Times
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEB6ibtdPZc

Fall Out Boy - Young Volcanoes

Thief Club - My Heavy.

Not sure how well any of this fits into the thread, but some things I've been liking a lot lately that fall under a similar umbrella at least:

Hellions - X (mwah)
Maybe the catchiest song ever; they started out as a standard (but fun!) metalcore/hardcore band before evolving into whatever this is. Funky, groovy, pop-rap-rock?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WXsf5EQ8wQ

Senses Fail - Gold Jacket, Green Jacket...
Straight up early 2000s throwback pop-punk anthem. The whole album is better than it has any right to be.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfGSZspzCV8

Microwave - Stovall
If Manchester Orchestra were a pop-punk/post-hardcore band.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BFCgkqS1wE

The Plot In You - Disposable Fix
Former metalcore band making pretty unique atmospheric alt-rock or something.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYRv4tC8928

The Republic of Wolves - Bask
Did you like Daisy? So did these guys! This is very similar in sound and atmosphere to Brand New but good enough to stand on its own.

I toured in a decently-popular metalcore band for like 5 years in the early 2000s, AMA

"A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" will always be one of my top albums though, it's almost flawless.

Well, which band was it and was it fun being on tour with them? :P
And that album is legit flawless, indeed, but I can't help but to feel that The Black Parade should also be considered such an album. It's like the emo album of all time, and even listening to it years later some of the songs there are really damned good such as I Don't Love You.

We were called Glass Casket. I couldn't get into touring. Living in a van or bus with 5 other guys and eating dollar menu fast food every day and hardly sleeping... that poo poo gets old.

Some of our labelmates were cool though:
