The other Gravitonium we've seen in Deke's belt the spaceship and the skyship acted as you would expect from the stuff. The science guy just did something weird to the stuff. So when he got sucked in, he basically became Sandman with gravity material instead of sand. well, I'm assuming that in the previous timeline, Quake/Daisy successfully kept Coulson from sacrificing himself to the gravitonium, where now Deke (if he is a new addition to the timeline as implied) will successfully persuade Quake to let Coulson go, and in so doing carry out future-Yo-yo's advice. Or he shoots her in the knee, that'd work too.

I'm not super worried about Deke/Daisy because I agree with Deke that she doesn't like him one little bit. Like even before his drugged out rant I was already reading it as Deke having a crush on her and Daisy kind of just tolerating the doofy rascal who sold her out to a slave trader once but kinda tried to make up for it.

Should we go with Deksy or Daiske? (Don't both are terrible) Pretty certain the 'comply' speech might have been part of Hale's contingency plan cause that's the girl who was standing at Talbots' Wife's shoulder. Hale knew he was programmed, and figured with him escaped he'd try and reach out to his family. This lets her get some last bits of use out of him.

Yeah, it was obviously Hydra programming. The only real question is was Talbot's wife (a) willingly Hydra, (b) coerced/threatened, or (c) ignorant and kinda dumb. I lean towards B. And I think my main problem with Daisy/Deke is that I still haven't really made peace with Coulson/May and while I love YoYo/Mack and Fitz-Simmons I'm gonna feel really weird if literally everyone's paired up. But I really don't think its a concern because I think that was entirely being played for laughs and Daisy does not want to touch rat holes with Deke. This is kind of why I just said "lets wait and see." Its 99.9% going to be answered entirely decisively in the next episode because its not really an important plot point or even a character we give a crap about. It was a plot device kept a little ambiguous because it was played as a last second twist. We don't need to fall down a hole trying to decipher something that probably wasn't meant to spark any debate. Lets not LOST this.
