I live in Asheville and will be going to the show with my band mates. There's another goon who goes to shows in Asheville, too, though I can't remember his name at the moment. The Mothlight is probably my favorite venue in town, and it's three blocks from my apartment.

I'm pretty sure yesterday was the first mention of a release date, so aside from some hinting at a new album sometime last year, yeah, it's just kinda came out of nowhere. Granted, we all should have seen the 4/20 release date coming, but hey, hindsight is 20/20 and all.

My initial impressions of The Sciences: -They've been doing the intro live for a while now -I like the old faster version of Sonic Titan better, though the leads are outstanding in this new one -Antarcticans Thawed is as good as I hoped. Definitely the highlight of the album for me -The start of Giza Butler sounds like Om, or Al's solo stuff
