I cancelled them all apart from 'Serious Overchill' if that's that case, ill just wait and fingers crossed it will be accepted, if not then pfttt i'll just take a break and come back in Sept when everyone goonrushes for a week for new content, got a 'quest' i need a fore team for a golden age gun, pretty hard solo, ill bug someone on discord at some point, i'm in no rush now, kinda boring solo on there so ill just play other games for a while instead.

Old lore implied that it happened but that was retconned in D2 and now the shards are pieces leftover from the battle with the Darkness. YUGA SUNDOWN was the code for halting all counterattacks against the darkness, under the assumption that resistance was futile. After declaring yuga, Rasputin went to MIDNIGHT EXIGENT, the hibernation/hiding in hopes that it would be able to wake up and attack the darkness again later when odds were more favorable. The Iron Lords cancelled YUGA SUNDOWN when they showed up in the SIVA vault to poke around, but it wasn't until Destiny 1 when The Guardian activated Rasputin's antenna that Rasputin actually woke up and started to re-assert control of the orbital defenses again.
