It's nothing really new, it's been a game of "ride single file and don't make a move until the last lap" for a while now, even though it never works anymore. The rules package isn't too terrible, both today and at Daytona the racing was fun to watch when the drivers felt like going for it. They might need a bigger spoiler though, seemed like everyone was a little on edge. I still think they should bring back the roof blade and open the plates up.

Open request for all drivers from this point forward to leave their kids in the hauler. A lot of us have kids. We didn't spray them with Gatorade. If you really want to get on the top 10 for Sportscenter, give your loving crew chief a hug. He at least did something.

No lead shuffling, none of what makes Talladega fun.

Seriously, go track the rise and fall and rise and fall and rise and fall of American sports car racing, and similarly its connection to the global/world championship too. Even the “mishandling” of the prototypes has turned around into a position of strength. It’s amazing.
