It also means that the “jailbroken” hosts shouldn’t be able to, like, get back up after being fatally shot—if they have nervous systems and circulatory systems then damage to those should render their bodies inoperable even if their brains are reawakened. Better to imagine the hosts as science magic meat robots than as nearly identical to humans.

Something I read pointed out that the hosts this season don't seem to rot. I think they used the lake scene as an example. The floating bodies look recognizable and not crazy bloated and rotting.
