Loving the different gimmicks and visual designs of each layer, I stopped right before the guns only floor though, which may get miserable fast.

The 6th layer is draining and I reached a boss that had a shell/phase gimmick that I need to figure out so I didn't end up finishing the game. Maybe tomorrow.

Even if the first one doesnt grab you enough to finish, definitely give the second one a go, its a contender for the best rpg on the PS2

Finished DDS2. Godlike games, I think I liked the tone and setting of 1 more but this combat system is probably my favorite JRPG system ever, I want a DDS3 nao.

I’m planning on finishing the first one, I liked it so far and it’s apparently pretty short for a JRPG

Idk if ever seen another game do this but WA3 not only plays an opening song like 1/2 whenever you load up a save, but whenever you stop playing it has a closing song. It's just like my Japanese animes.

The opening animation also changes as you progress through the game

I miss the gameplay focused games, shipping completed games, no day 1 patches & no DLC personally.

No games based around irony, no “try hard” games, no one raving about “indie 2d roguelike metroidvania” no early access, best rpgs, but I could go on
