It reminds me of the first act a lot with the dumb kids who just want to go get hosed up and party all the time, consequences be damned. Obviously once Alien shows up things take a hard turn, but before that it was just a “let’s go party because we’re bored!” Story.

That looks terrible. Production design is that clean/sterile/cheap look. There doesn't seem to be a tone at all to the cinematography. It just looks B/C-list cast and just overall boring and cheap.

Wow Predator looks like complete trash....what happened? Borderline Direct-to-Video cast, the same boring suburban setting from AvP: Requiem, cinematography looks trash. How the gently caress did Shane Black think The Predator needed a little kid in it....that's just a baffling choice to me. It's insane how Predator 2 seemed like a trashy rehash at the time, and yet it's 30 years later and no one seems able to get even close to matching that level of quality.
