Wait Nick Diaz really believes that? I knew he made it as an excuse at the time, but to still be banging on about it 5 years later is some impressively advanced stupid.

Machida asked for Bisping. Tbh it makes sense for both of em to take that fight and retire afterwards.

yo now that sports betting is here (thank god), that money is gonna be pouring in. like if you've ever watched a UFC or other sporting event stream from the UK, it's all betting advertisements. really proud to be an american today except for all that other stuff (everything).

Most states have laws similar to PASPA so it's not just wide open yet. States are going to legalize pretty quickly, imo, though. I expect NJ to have laws out first closely followed by NY.

lol I was talking about Chuck with my dad yesterday and laughing about how there are always rumors about him coming back. gently caress it though. I’m down. Chuck could be 60 years old and still KO most people. If he doesn’t get brutalized first

Fighters who have lost their chin should not be fighting it's painful to watch and very dangerous. Its heartbreaking seeing it happen to strangers neveta mind Chucks friends and family.

How big was Chuck at 205? I feel most of his contemporaries would be 185 today, with a possible exception of Tito. Jones would maul Chuck really, really badly if they were the same size... and they aren't the same size.

He's 6'2" and he beat dudes like Monson and Overeem, so I wouldn't say that him being undersized is necessarily a problem. Literally every other conceivable reason is a problem, but his height's fine.

Even in Iowa, the news today from the governor and the state legislature is that they expect to pass legal sports betting laws next year with huge bipartisan support. You might be screwed if you live in Utah or something, but in most states its hard to pass up something that will bring in more money.

Chuck and Jones are physically the same guy basically except jones has skinny legs instead of a beer belly. Also Jones can't fight Chuck as Jones will be fighting the Back machida next.
