It's better binge-watching because there's some good stuff but a lot of draggy episodes. This second half of the season has been such a slog that I can't recall how the first half held together. Don't expect anything spectacular but if you're looking for time to kill it's probably watchable.

I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?

Adult Swim has announced they're doing a Harvey Birdman special to air this fall with all of the original cast back. It is supposedly about Harvey as Attorney General after Phil Ken Sebben, who is President, appoints him to the position. Little worried that the whole thing is just going to be tired Trump jokes.

Trump broke Colbert in ways I can barely describe. I haven't seen a full episode in well over a year now, even agreeing with 90% of what he says. But if they got the staff from the original run back, a HBAAL revival sounds pretty loving sweet

I'm fine with it but the vocal tone of the thread is rabid hate. Its got a lot of real flaws especially in establishing its main villain or juggling different storylines. They probably play a little better in a binge but that won't fix the problems of things that are simply missing or too jumbled together.

Ultimately if you're generally ok with the Arrowverse and can overlook the usual flaws you'll probably be generally ok with Arrow S6 but if you hate the general Arrowverse and are triggered by "killing is bad, except when we kill" then don't watch this and probably stop watching all of it because there's too much tv out there to watch something you don't like.

Where did she say that? I can't find it in any of the cancellation articles. Netflix might've just canceled it because of (undeservedly) low viewership numbers.

What a shame about Hap & Leonard. You'd think there would be a market for a show about two men, one black one white, one left one right, who put decency above everything else. But there we go. It'll be one of those shows that people catch up with after it's too late and realise it was awesome.

I dig the show but its a quirky show on a D tier channel that has six episode seasons that all tell a new story. It seems almost designed to not draw a TV audience.

I just watched the trailer and was amazed that they assembled this cast of actors I sort of recognize for flashback sequences that make up 10% of the first book.

Oh, that's the show then? You're not gonna do the whole thing that people read the books for? Vampire post-apoc a hundred years after everyone is dead?

The thing is, though, she mentions that she could have done a third season if she'd had essentially child actor hours. Nobody's questioning that Bamford had a hard time on the show, we're just kind of struggling to draw a direct line between that and it getting cancelled, since none of the articles do; for all we know, that could have just been one of a bunch of factors.
