in 2016 it was fun seeing a group of nerds walking around together excitedly, you could yell POKEMON! out the car window and everyone would wave. Now it's died down so much in my small town that only the hardcore players and johnny-come-lately's like my wife and me are out, so we get stares again. Especially myself this morning as I hung out on the corner near the local alternative school since there is a gym there and I wanted to solo the easy Magikarp raid that was happening. I guess I just don't need to mutter to myself about "catching them all for candy"

I feel like the initial insanity of the game is what makes people think it's weird when someone still plays it. The game was a lot less fun back then, and a lot of people realized it was pretty boring once all you could do was catch Pidgey and Rattata, and they probably think things haven't changed. So they're probably wondering why the hell we all stuck around playing it.

I'm genuinely kind of amused it took me this long, but if any of you idly wondered like I did why sometimes the evolve silhouette would show up and sometimes it wouldn't on pokemon you've evolved once before, there turns out to be an easy answer it's a silhouette if you haven't evolved that specific gender of that species yet

Went to a doctor's appointment last week. There's a pokestop right outside the building, so I'll throw a lure on it while in the waiting room. Caught someone else playing, too. Also saw somebody parked at the local park's nest while collecting items. They had this decal on their back window. It's fun to just find other players in the wild.

Poochyena, Growlithe, Houndour, Electrike, Snubbull, Smeargle (if he ever gets released) I found a great theme gym today: baby Pokemon on a gym next to a day care center! I dropped off a Wynaut with a Smoochum and Azurill.

apparently whoever wrote this article has never heard that companies sometimes register domain names defensively and/or misleadinglyquote:There is now no doubt that Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee are real. The question is when and how Nintendo will reveal the games. because while they may exist, "no doubt" is uh, overstating the case

I love pink Dratini. My only problem is that pink Dragonair turns into gross poop green Dragonite. It's a great dilemma whether to evolve it and get the stat boost or keep it as it is with the nicer colour scheme. I am in this predicament in Ultra Moon with my silver Staryu, which evolves into a boring green Starmie.

I really want shiny Drowzee and Hypno to come out as pink Drowzee was my first real shiny (red Gyarados doesn't count) in Silver... And he and his box full of clones died with the internal battery years ago.
