you can probably use transparent sheets or whatever and just pull a layer off after every fight. formula 1 helmet visors use them. i think keeping the canvas clean is more important though, ive seen fighters slipping on vaseline and blood and stuff.

I had a long day yesterday and I was fading as I watched Alexa Grasso get choked. I knew there was no way I'd make it through Maia/Usman so I turned off the tv and fell asleep. It's nice being right.

Yeah, that's kind of the problem; Maia could still pretzel dudes like Magny and Masvidal and Gunni, so it's not like he's a loving schlub with no business at welterweight, but he also clearly does not belong in title contention.

With the current crop of contenders he’s pretty much finished as someone who might be champ. If they want to match him up against sub top ten guys I wouldn’t object to watching him crank blood out of their noses though.

I think Jared Cannonier should drop down to middleweight. He's reverse Anthony Johnson. He was saying that the fight last night might have been his last at light heavy. It's a shame though because I don't think he has much for middleweight but im prepared to be proven wrong.

They just sold like $250 million worth of prelim fights, they have to prove they will put actual draws on there from time to time. This is like when Faber used to always fight as the featured prelim.
