I played it again when I was older and started noticing a bunch of issues with the plot. Then the more I thought about it the more it unraveled and pretty soon I ended up hating the writing. Everyone is an idiot and way too much dumb poo poo happens just because nobody will sit down and explain what is going on to one another. Also way too many of the dungeon puzzles have you doing something incredibly convoluted to accomplish something incredibly mundane.

I tried Symphonia a few times years back and it never pulled me in and the combat frustrated me. Took me until Abyss 3DS that I really got into and beat one.
