Bennett strikes his 200th episode of Anime Abandon by taking an hour long look at JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Also this is just an aside, but it was weird when he sat down at the beginning to play Fallout 4 considering I had just come off a session of FO4 when I saw his video.

It's been a long time since I played it and I remember it being alright for the most part, the story is nothing to write home about and it was pretty easy. One of your party members is a giant bulldog-man who uses axes, so that was pretty cool.

A while back I had to choose between Rogue Galaxy and Wild Arms 4 as a big PS2 JRPG to buy on the PS4. I picked Wild Arms 4.

Maybe eventually I'll finish that tutorial. Someday.

Kylo Ren is in a place called “Star Wars Launch Bay” where you can meet the characters from the film. I watched a video last night which took place earlier this week, and they showed the line waits for each of the characters and it’s kinda sad when you look into it.

Chewie has a 30 minute wait time, Vader, 10 minutes, Kylo also 10....Rey...5 minutes. :smith:

Poor Disneyland Rey. No one wants to see you.

The Vegas casino biggies have analytics that hook into social media to identify good/bad points with peoples' trips versus what they did at the park, what they spent etc., so I imagine that Disney would would operate with a similar system if the data is available (like any fast-pass badges, rewards cards etc.). And I'm sure they have "influencers" flagged as well, plus a general scrub of posts that go up with any of a myriad of Disney-related keywords.

Given the internet’s toxic reaction to her simply because of her gender, I’m at least somewhat thankful those poor cast members hopefully don’t have to deal with an endless stream of neckbeads thinking they can take their internet shitheadery into the real world.

Then again, Chewbacca has been mega-popular for decades, and Vader and Kylo Ren are the faces of merch for the OT and ST, respectively. Rey is kind of bland and uninspiring in comparison.

It's also worth noting that Chewie, Vader, and Kylo have more of a costume aspect and make use of recorded dialogue in such a way that it's more "magical". You can pretend that it's "really" them.
Rey is just a normal cosplaying human. v:geno:v

If Disney ever has to do away with Kylo's mask (since it's already gone in canon), it's gonna be tough finding a cast member to match Adam Driver's uglyhot unique face. And no one will be satisfied.

As somebody that works in licensed merchandise I can tell you nobody give a poo poo about merch for ANY character that doesn't have a costume, but it's extremely pronounced in Star Wars. In fact Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, and Storm Troopers make like +80% of the sales.

It's also way easier to make decent merch. Even with the pricey stuff for collectors, molds of actual people have a tendency to look odd.
