MotU posted:i wont believe io is signing with wwe until i hear 6 separate reports about rossy being at or near a wwe event Well good news, Rossy was at several WWE events during Wrestlemania weekend. Including apparently meeting with executives. I wouldn't be shocked if WWE warned him they were coming for someone from STARDOM (Mayu or Io are the only two feasible names I can see WWE going after right now [Hana is too young and already contracted to Wrestle-1]), and to start reinforcing your division, which is why they've started making Hazuki, Momo, Kyona, etc look strong. I missed a chance to meet Io last night, I would have asked her if she was going to WWE. I could have gotten a scoop!

I've been so busy I hadn't had a chance to watch much NXT, but I thought the latest episode was great and I wasn't even TOO mad that Kairi lost. Undisputed Era are great, the Velveteen/Ricochet rivalry is cool and I want to hunt and kill Ciampa for sport.

Dream and Ricochet had a match at the house show I went to last month and it was probably the hottest match of the night. Dream's a local and got a ton of face heat. I'm not sure they were expecting that.

The continued efforts to make Lacey Evans a thing are baffling. I heard Kairi took a huge pay cut to come to NXT, so it must suck to lose to such a mediocre wrestler. Anyways, does anybody know how Io Shirai feels about weed?

Also, does anybody else think it is weird how Aleister Black has seemed like an afterthought since winning the title? I understand Gargano/Ciampa being the big story right now, but NXT is usually a lot better about making the champion be viewed as the guy.

I think afterthought is putting it a bit strongly but he is a bit "unlucky" that his reign coincides with the hottest NXT program in I don't know how long. Looks like next week he'll be the focal point of the show tho so they're not going too overboard with it. If he's not main eventing in Chicago as well tho, and I think there's a chance, that's really not a good look for him.

I feel like the same thing used to happen with the champ back when Joe and Finn were feuding. It was like one week the show would focus on the tag titles, the next the womens title, and the next the heavyweight title and if it wasn't your week to be the focus you just weren't on. Kind of nice in a way because it limits anyone getting overexposure being crammed into something each week.

Yeah, there's the story of Vince saying "he can't work!" after a TV match, to be told how few matches he'd had. I'd say he's a failing of the PC, because imagine if you could skip his first year or so of being in the WWE, where his only memorable thing was when Brock clowned him.

Supposedly the WWE UK show had a rough time selling the expensive tickets at the Albert Hall so they rebranded it as a NXT show and added a Shawn Michaels appearance - shadily branded as a return for Shawn.
