This is what I was thinking too. But whatever. Its not the worst thing and I guess it was Talulah's wrap scene so she got to chew a little dialogue and be hot. But you have to admin, they went out with a bang. Also I completely called Dolores testing out Bernard. I'm sure it wasn't the hardest of speculations but I'm glad I can follow the show well enough to figure some poo poo out on my own. W O K E N A T I O N It's going to be loving cool to see how Ghost Nation was awake the whole time but no one cared enough about the 'savages' to pay attention to them and how they were changing without their narratives being different. I guess the guests never got out that far enough for them to be reset or really interacted with at all.

It'd be great for Ghost Nation to be a group of woke hosts that just want to be left alone and live peacefully with humans. A nice change to Dolores and Ford who are now all "kill all humans!" Plus I think we have to get some new recurring cast members with how many of them died in this episode.

I felt like the 30-45 second seduction of the guard was a bit of a weak point in an otherwise stellar episode. Especially after he made it clear several times he wouldn't fall for the hosts tricks. Disappointed the guy with the badass mustache got so little screen time before being (nearly certainly) killed. Of course at this point it's heavily implied that at least one person who got killed is going to get resurrected in host form, so hopefully badass mustache dude will have another shot. Getting harder and harder to want to see Dolores succeed. Even if there is some way she cannot be seen as a villain, she delivered a straight up Darth Maul style "villain gloats like an idiot instead of just killing the hero" speech to the Hale chick. I'm honestly unsure how I feel about Ford's monologues. Are they integral to the story? Or did the Westworld cast just know the quickest way to get their show taken seriously in an intellectual way was having Anthony Hopkins monologuing at certain points? Does he have an off the cuff historical metaphor for every topic that could come up in a conversation? It certainly seems like it. Will Shogun World appear again? I am going to be disappointed if it doesn't. The head sawing scene was the best one this season.  The twist this season is Old Bill, the "not so advanced" host we were casually introduced to, is going to be behind it all. Calling it right now.
