This isn’t the a league, it shouldn’t have to hamstring itself to avoid the afl and nrl. Just attach the aflw to the afl for god sake, let it ride on the coat tails. Get people interested that way, and give it a finals series after a real season. Could mid week perhaps be seen as a time for the womens footy? Games on Tues/Weds/Thurs nights or is it just overkill? Or go back to the old days and mens is Friday/Sat and womens on Sundays?

They are part timers who don't get paid a living wage to play footy and they have to be back in their home cities for work on Monday. So no, weekends only.

This year Grundy has been going at 21.6, and in Cox's best year (2008) he went at 22.1. In the same year of their AFL careers, (Cox 2006) he had an average of 18.95. So in other words, I see your point. But 25 per game is a bit of a stretch.

Also if the AFLW teams often kick like 4 goals a game in summer what kind of scores will they kick in the wet in winter?

Or best if somehow awarded to the team that won the only decent game of footy during the finals series.
