Wound up finding Chelsea Grin's "Ashes to Ashes" on pretty tight colored vinyl while on a trip back home. Picked it up and gave it a spin recently and forgot what an incredible album it is. Adding the guitarist of Born of Osiris is exactly what chugcore CG needed to really elevate their sound. I know they get poo poo on a lot but I think they're one of the most exemplary bands in the genre.

New Bleeding Through is great, best of their career honestly. Between that, Eighteen Visions last year, and The Agony Scene coming up soon, I'm loving that all these mid 2000s core bands are getting back together and putting out even better material than they were during their heyday. I wish It Dies Today would reunite and complete the early 2000s comeback. They recorded that song Son of Dawn, Brilliant Star in 2014 and then disbanded again.
