So on a whim I sorted my desktop backgrounds folder by "created by" and hooo boy have I got some weird old stuff.

Anyone else kind of miss this 2000s aesthetic?

http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/ Used to be my go to site for this type of art. They still have some good stuff there but I think most of it is behind a paywall.

Can we hold off on this type of thing for, like, at least 3 more years? I'm not ready for 2000s nostalgia yet.

This poo poo owned when I was a kid. Back when CGI was still amazing. My orthodontist would have all the Mind's Eye videos playing plus a SEGA DREAMCAST someone could play while they were getting worked on.

In a similar vein. Not really weird but nostalgic.

that was a good game, especially since we figured out that you can feed the tutorial lady to your creature and be completely lost on what to do.

sucks that the sequel wasn't that great. No free play mode, no choosing other civilizations, no multiply. It would of been great because the physics, destruction, and the detailed town building were excellent.
