Smart linking by the sound of it in the sourcebook pretty much creates a digital crosshair that only you can see when you ready your linked gun. So it'd make perfect sense really. Unholster the gun, it syncs with the smart link, gg. By the sound of it they're making it an autotargetting option for less FPS-friendly players which is still really cool.

I forget which source book that was in but CP2020 has exactly that. There was a full body cyborg for fire fighting too, among other things. That one was so inhuman because of the specialist integrated equipment that the user had their brain housing swapped to more human norm cyborg bodies while off duty in order to retain some sanity. All that being said if you're walking around like an inhuman tank carrying a .50 HMG, an RPG and two neon katanas don't expect anyone to treat you as anything but a cyberpsycho who hasn't snapped yet. In the paper and pen game this would basically mean cops wouldn't even approach you if they saw you do something, they'd call in C-SWAT immediately.
