The Blade 2.0 loving rules and looks even more futuristic than 1.0.

Elohim was amazing too!

If they're playing anywhere near you, I urge you to go.

I second this, saw them a couple weeks ago and that show was great. Really wish Elohim had been at the one I went to though.

Saw Odesza close out Firefly last night. Perfect closing act for the festival and that may be one of the most fun shows I’ve been to. I’ve never seen so many glow sticks in one place.

I still remember the interview they did with The Guardian I think where they stated that dance music was dead, nothing new was being done and that there was nothing good to listen to. They then released an album which sounded like B sides to their last album.

Their early poo poo is genuinely great but the new stuff is samey as gently caress and they're not self aware enough to do anything different. Live they're incredible though but then they're mostly firing out classics at you...

I still think Invaders Must Die is one of their best albums and The Day is My Enemy has a ton of jams on it. Fight me.

Trip report: Echostage was fine but we probably stood too close to the front. I had earplugs but it’s physically exhausting to have the speakers beating on you.

Carl played almost all techno which is fine but I was hoping for house. Lots of kids in their early 20s, too many people lighting up joints, just vape you jerks.

Eh, I can take or leave Invaders. AONO wasn't great either. Day is just b sides from Invaders and poo poo ripped from older albums, I just felt like I'd heard it all before and due to that I was less enthralled.

Those albums have some decent tracks but they're not back to front classics. The Day is my Enemy was the one released after they'd dissed everything else around at the time which was loving hilarious because the few years leading up to 2015 were loving STACKED full of superb dance music and you'd have to be some kind of oval office to pretend like there was nothing else good being produced at the time.

I feel like you're younger than I am, I've seen and heard it all before... I mean I guess it's because those first three albums were groundbreaking at the time and then of course everything that follows was just an evolution. I guess I just get bored of hearing slight variations of the same thing repeatedly?

Well I'm not 30 quite yet, so I was aware that The Prodigy were making loving awesome electronic music when I was a kid, but I wasn't as fully into their music as I would be later.

Their first few albums are groundbreaking, yeah. I won't deny that. But Invaders Must Die is still one of my favorites of theirs.

I have seen both! Nora en Pure is more my style and closer to a deep house set (at least when I saw her). Morgan Page is more mainstream EDM but he is a talented DJ/Producer and I had a blast dancing my face off at a show a couple years ago. I don’t like his new stuff as much though.

Is this the Rezz x L-1788 song? I'm really really liking it. There's a conflict with Rezz at Shambhala with Mr. Carmack, but I think I'm leaning towards Rezz.

Hex Cougar - X / Love got released today too and it's really good. He's probably one of my favorite producers right now.

Man, I know this isn't a Pendulum track, but Rob's vocals make me crave new Pendulum even more. And not that remix poo poo. Those were all garbage. I'm talking new original material.

This is classic mau5 too.

Great track, I don’t think I could ever get tired of Rob Swire’s voice. And that along with the mau5 melody is a perfect combo.

I saw Tiesto like 10 or 11 years ago and don't remember much about it, although I was kinda far back for it. I imagine it would've been more memorable had I been right up front for it.
