There's a good Linus video where he tours around iJustine's house/mansion and he finds that her data backup solution is just a shitload of external hard drives and none of it is organized. He builds her some NAS thing.

Fuck the DH
I like Linus's "TechQuickie" videos because they're pretty loving simple explanations about standards and poo poo that I use everyday but chalk up to magic, like PCI-E, USB, etc. I absolutely can not stand his main channel and that's because he's so heavily involved with Intel that I think it handcuffs his ability to tell them off at a time when they desperately need it.

I watch another channel sometimes called TechSource which is basically a dude investing his wealth in computer aesthetics judging people's computer rooms (fortunately he never calls them "battlestations" which is the worst loving aauuugh). I started watching Setup Wars because an IKEA opened in my city and it's basically like IKEA Pornography for people who spend a lot of time at a keyboard.

Yeah TechQuickie is great. A couple little issues here or there, but genuinely informative. Linus apparently also has a channel about just his cats, which is a treat.

I liked these two videos of Tech Jesus exploring Tech Heaven Market:

I just picked on at random https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-aOGni1G9k where it looks like he's setting up a giant storage server for use in an actual production environment.
Interesting video but really only useful on learning how to plug cards into an HP server, he doesn't really cover the software setup or even the reason for so many of the expansion cards. I think he said they are external pci express or fiber networking? Whatever they are, I have no idea why he needed 6 cards worth.

Two hour long YouTube video on a loving water block??? Nope.

Linus may not be the smartest you tuber out there and his personality is a bit annoying at times, but he does at least produce informative videos with good production quality. I would love to see Linus play with real enterprise hardware or not make lovely RAID arrays, but aside from the annoying personality I like Linus' videos.

It's not as exciting as Linus, and I think he focus's on straight hardware a bit much, but he does do some ESXi cluster setups and stuff occasionally.

He does do some really oddball and dumbshit some times with electronics and tools, but other that that you're much more likely to learn something actually useful about enterprise stuff.

I wasn't joking when I said don't try and learn anything from Linus's "enterprise" stuff

Thanks for the recommendation. I love watching DIY stuff.

He's pretty much the direct personality type you only find in the NE part of the US.

I find his video interesting since I used to work as a test engineer and it's very education how he debugs various macbook problems using tools like circuit diagram tracing.

He did a joint video with Linus on BGA rework

In cringe-free news, vintage technology YouTuber CuriousMarc has completed a full restoration of his vintage 1950s Teletype.
