The minute I got perma Rider Kintoki I immediately NP5'd him, max Fou'd him, max ascended him, and got both his first and second skill nearly to max. Once again, foiled by the lack of common gems, not able to pump his third skill very high. Curse you F/GO and your weird drop rates.

So my final impressions on the event and characters: Roman is a man of fine taste, Raikou is not as mentally ill as I initially thought, but still has issues, Shuten x Kintoki 5ever, Ushiwakamaru is terrifying and adorable at once and should probably be a Berserker, Benkei is a great idiot, Fumma is wonderful and I want to see him and Kintoki team up again, Kintoki is loving awesome, but we all knew that, I'm glad Ibaraki's suffering continues.

I ended up making out like a bandit in Oni. Two Momzerkers, Banana Oni, and enough Ninjas to fully NP5 everyone's favorite Pheasent.

Well, despite being a lowbie I did get one Golden Bear Lighter. Let’s all thank friends will high level supports that have an event CE equipped. My question is will I lose the item if I do not ascend Kintoki by the end of the even?

No, you keep the item. Really, really suggest trying to get the other lighters, though. Kintoki's on a Reverse S curve so he really wants those last levels.

Depends if you can inflict 4.5M damage. If you can then yes, otherwise do the 2BP 3M damage one since it's trivial to inflict 3M damage with a strong friend.

Shortest in terms of dots spent, but in real time doing the 3 million might faster unless you have power setup already since you can easily clear it in 2-3 turns. The quest to unlock the best nodes for grinding will unlock later tonight, once the Ushi Gozen Slain raid has timed out. Week one was the main raids, week 2 was the Rakshasa quests and the Refights against the Oni.

hot springs and tower are good enough nodes for coral and baskets respectively, at least if you've got access to multiple event CEs. brocade farming will suck until the last nodes unlock.

No rematch for Ushi Gozen, so presumably these few remaining hours are the last chance to fight her. Supposedly there should be oni rematches and their slain versions from then until the end of the event.
