double nine posted:reminder: it still took ~6 months for the research convoy to launch from earth/mars and end up at the ring. Assuming that most rings are positioned at similar distances from the central star, that's still 6*2 months to reach the green zone of the alien solar system.

The protomolocule made me think of some Necron tech. They're actually inside the Warp but because its so early the Chaos Gods have no power! Or maybe the Expanse characters are the proto forms of the Chaos Gods? Drummer could totally ascend to be Khorne. Blood for the Blood God, inyalowda.

Don't forget your local library when trying to find Expanse books or books in general, I'm in a pretty small town (biggest city in the county kind of deal) and there's still around a dozen libraries in the area and I was able to pick up all but the latest books in the series there.

I wandered into a Barnes and Noble earlier this year to look for a different book and saw the Expanse books there. Though they were outrageously expensive and much cheaper on Amazon.

Stargate is cheesy camp sci fi about a team of people walking around in forests a lot and shooting aliens (that look like humans) with P90 submachine guns It's extremely dissimilar in tone to The Expanse

SG1 is pretty fun but absolutely nothing like The Expanse at all. If you like the tone of Star Trek you might enjoy it.

At the beginning of the season they revealed there was still a glob of protomolecule somewhere in the roci after killing a the hybrid. Did that ever come back into play or was it just a weird reveal that episode?
