Just drank a sugar free redbull, as pennance for not making cold brew over the weekend. Hope to start a batch tonight. The trick to good cold brew is ice in the water when brewing, and triple filtering at the end.

Walk me through this: wouldn't you want the water to be as warm as possible while you were steeping it ("warm" being a relative since it's a cold toddy)? Would you want an agitator plate going during the steep as well?

there's this dude named Cam who has a little cart outside of my office that he calls "Cam's Kettle" and he sells cold brew from beans he roasts himself and he always calls me "brother" and says "peace", which makes me feel good
