Haven't really paid attention to new releases in years, but I'm currently rediscovering how much I love that Latterman sound. Aside from all of the Latterman-adjacent bands (RVIVR, Iron Chic, Shore Birds, Tender Defender, etc) is anybody else doing that sort of stuff these days?

Saw Opposition Rising and Not A Part of It at a free show yesterday and it was extremely lit. But i saw people actually hardcore dancing, like windmilling their arms and doing spin kicks and I thought that was just like an extremely long running joke it was pretty funny. They were doing it respectfully though, pulling their arns and stuff when they got to the edge of the pit.

It depends on the city but there’s like 10,000 combinations of any 10 songs that would make for a great AT set so you’ll be fine, but it also depends on the city your seeing them in.

Ugh man I just read this heartbreaking story about a kid going to his local emo night in the UK. The bar itself is called Seventy times Seven, the advertise for “Fans of Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and My Chemical Romance, etc.” and the doorwoman gave the kid poo poo for wearing his Brand New shirt saying he was pretty ballsy for repping “that band”... like maybe change the name of your bar then, guy! Anyways I just looked and the closest Emo night to me is like an hour and a half away but I might start going because it’ll be easier than organizing an emo night around here and getting it shut down in 3 weeks because no one in Myrtle Beach gives a poo poo...
