I was hoping for a dark horse candidate for supporting actor. I just finished Luke Cage season 2 and the guy that plays Shades was really really good, and way better than season 1, but part of that was the writing I feel.

That comedy list is pretty good, is this the first time Modern Family didn't get a nod? Also, weirdest awards thing of recent times is in 2017 Moana got nominated for a Billboard award for best soundtrack. It lost. So for some reason, it got renominated for this years awards, and it won. It's really strange, and I don't know if they meant to submit Coco and someone hosed up or what.

The Alienist was decent if you like crime shows. I'm guessing it got nominated because it was a really gritty period piece with a fairly big name cast (and a side theme of overcoming bigotry and police corruption). It checks a lot of boxes.

Just to throw myself behind the bus: "Unfinished Business" (the boxing episode) is one of my favourite BSG Episodes. As is the King-Arthur one of Babylon 5. And despite the underwhelming resolution, BSG as a whole is a great show.

I'm more referring to a show about a media conglomerate company. When media conglomerates close newspapers and websites because staff unionized IRL. Just left a really bad taste in my mouth, ironic or not. I love TBS though (almost more than the book).
