if we look at it as money = time, even at minimum wage earning potential you win out by just paying full price and not waiting 5 hours in line

Wonder how many fat mom's brought their child in a stroller who was entirely incapable of building a bear themselves and demanded the 2 buck stuffed animal.

gently caress all in-store so-called freebies and super-bargain items. If it's a free show, guaranteed it'll be elbow to elbow. If it's a free or super bargain item of any kind, there'll be ridiculous queues like this, with fights and tears.

They're not even that great quality, they have open, gaping backs when you buy your lifeless, nightmarish bear skin so they can puff them up with fluff. Then they tie the tiny thread up at the back which comes unstitched in about a month and you go back and spend £20 on another one

7/10 - The whole world is united, hoping a multinational team of men and women, skilled in the most dangerous of adventures, would be able to save a soccer team from certain death inside a flooded cave. 7/11 - Free Slurpee Day 7/12 - We're punching each other over stuffed animals. 7/13 - ?

Apparently my MIL took my kids to this bizarre event, and they waited in line for 3 hours and got a $15 voucher. Hopefully the children learned something about economics that their elder generation is lacking.

You bet your rear end some terrible mother left her stroller in line with the baby still in it while she went to take a piss because she didn't want to start at the back again. And you better believe she asked the mothers in front and behind of her to watch her child and before they even has a chance to say no she ran off.

Probably like 95 cops policing the line in the hot sun and breaking up fights.
