Fortunately someone copped a probation for it (and yes the mods note was "Don't imply users are paedophiles") It was pretty surreal as I was also reading the Elon Musk thread where people were (rightfully) outraged at the fact that Musk was implying the only reason a white man would be in Thailand is because he's a pedo and in this other thread people were saying exactly the same thing but about the Philippines and it was apparently fine. If a Musketeer said "I bet Elon was only joking about the pedo thing" then you'd all rightfully call that person out for their BS and go off on one about how "It's never funny to joke about this sort of thing!"
