Our first three hens loved porridge, sometimes when they went off howling a large bowl was the only thing to shut them up (they trained us well). Then they'd all sit outside the kitchen door, preen for a bit then fall into a carb coma and snooze.

when i lived in socal i had a roadrunner friend. my house was next to a vacate desert lot i would play in and a road runner came around all the time during the summer and i would give it small peices of burgers / hot dogs.

Yeah, even if you upload something like black and white lineart or text as a lossless .png a lot of places will compress the hell out of it and poo poo out a jpg like that.

Actually impressed. The old 300mm f/4 optics are nice as hell but with no VR and a tight crop (I'm guessing, at that focal length, parent birbs don't like 300mm distance).

Edit: This here is my buddy, a (nearly adult) juvenile Australian Magpie. I feed his parents, and they must have told him that I'm a Person With Food because every time I head to the park near my house, this little poo poo sprints at me with his head down, then follows me everywhere.

My grandparents' had one of those too. They'd roll meatballs across the patio to them. Road runners are cool birds.
