Serena's been poor. I think we all expected better from her.

Tenochtitlan, looking east.
That was a very professional performance from Kerber. Reminds me of Bartoli in 2013 - just getting it done, business-like and drama-free.

But yeah, Serena wasn't sharp today. Maybe a tad too soon into her comeback.

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.
Anderson and Isner are calling for tie breakers in fifth sets. I want Djokovic to win now.

Anderson is dead :(
At least I can watch the World Cup final now :)

It would be easier to ban Isner. If you look at the longest matches list it's Isner who pops up a lot.

I mean, Anderson is a good player and all but this outcome against either the Djoker or Rafa was easily foreseen.

Guess its hard to complain after 4 epic, all-time great matches leading up to this but eh.

:rip: Kevin tried really hard in that third set.

The quarters and semis were very good.

Both finals were anticlimactic

Goodness no, now that wouldn't do at all!

I think legitimately everything I've ever learned about Isner made me like him less.

Fighting like beavers.
Amongst all the longest matches with crazy sets like 15-17, 25-23, etc, we've got the 10th longest match:

Djokovic def Nadal: 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, 7-5. 5h 53

Now that Djokovic is back on his game, to me it feels like he might surpass Federer's trophy count.

What incredible domination these three players have wrought.
